Your data, clearly explained
Privacy policy
AnimalRoll is designed to work without an account. This page explains the small amount of browser data the tools use and the optional services a production deployment may enable.
Last updated: July 31, 2026Information on your device
Favorites and recent animal history are stored locally in your browser. They are not uploaded to an AnimalRoll account or database. Clearing site data removes them.
Shared-result links contain only public animal IDs selected by the tool. Do not add personal information to a shared URL.
Optional analytics
Optional analytics may measure actions such as generating, saving, or sharing an animal. It uses coarse event names and animal IDs, not free-form text, email addresses, or favorites-list contents. Where consent is required, analytics remains off until that choice permits it.
Optional advertising
Optional advertising may appear after a generated result when a valid account is configured. Providers may use cookies or similar technologies according to the privacy choices shown in the certified consent interface. The generator continues to work if an ad is unavailable or blocked.
Sources and outbound links
Animal records link to fact references and licensed image source pages. Those external sites receive ordinary request information when you visit them and apply their own privacy policies.
Your privacy choices
Use the persistent Privacy settings link or the Cookies page to review available consent choices. You can also remove local favorites and history through browser site-data controls.
